    One more round of rain is expected as we wrap up the week, but we should quickly dry for the weekend. Temperatures heading into May will be cooler than average for this time of year with some chilly mornings ahead.

    For tonight look for mainly cloudy, but dry conditions. Lows will be around 50. Friday brings gray skies, but we'll remain dry for the bulk of the day. Highs will only reach the upper 60s.

    Another wave of rain is expected to push through Friday. We'll be on the northern edge of wet weather across north Alabama so rain amounts will be generally light.

    We'll dry quickly into Saturday morning with a decrease in clouds through the afternoon. Temperatures will again be cool for this time of year with highs only around 70.

    Sunday starts clear and chilly with temperatures in the low 40s. By afternoon we'll be sunny and mild with highs in the low 70s.

    Temperatures will continue to bounce back to near 80 by early next week. The week will start dry, but look for another chance of showers and storms coming around midweek.
