"Arab City Schools is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our precious Arab Elementary School students, Cal. He brought so much joy, laughter, and light to our classrooms and hallways each day, and his absence will be felt by everyone who knew and loved him.
"We ask that you keep Cal's family, classmates, teachers, and all who were touched by his sweet spirit in your thoughts as we support one another through this difficult time. Counselors will be available at schools to provide support for students and staff who may need someone to talk to.
"Arab City Schools is more than a school system - we are a family - and we will hold one another close as we remember and honor Cal."
