Friday was the last day of Read Across America Week and we ended it on a high note by visiting Harvest Elementary School.
51Ó°Ôº 31 Morning Meteorologist Grace Anello spent her morning with 46 second graders and they were wonderful in every sense of the word! Meteorologist Grace spoke to them all about the types of weather we see across the globe including in rain forests, deserts, the arctic, and on islands.
These students listened so well and asked wonderful questions about hurricanes, tsunamis, and lightning. Meteorologist Grace spent a long time developing one-on-one severe weather safety plans with each student. Each kiddo left knowing what constitutes a severe weather event and exactly where they need to go during one of them.
Thank you for a wonderful visit, Harvest!
