Karenna Chaudoin was born and raised in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and is a proud 2024 graduate of Western Kentucky University’s School of Media.

During her time at WKU, Karenna was heavily involved in the university’s student-run newscasts, News Channel 12 and The Extra Point. There, she contributed as a reporter, multimedia journalist, and anchor, gaining hands-on experience both in front of and behind the camera. Her work earned her recognition from the Kentucky Broadcasters Association, where she won two Impact Broadcast Awards for excellence in journalism.
Karenna landed her first TV position as a news reporter in Bowling Green, Kentucky, at WNKY News 40. There she covered a variety of stories, sharpening her skills in reporting, storytelling, and providing local news to the community.
From there, Karenna moved to Montgomery, Alabama, where she reported for WCOV Fox 20. In the Capital City and throughout the River Region, Karenna connected with viewers by telling the stories that mattered most to people who live there.
Now at 51Ó°Ôº 31 News, Karenna is excited to serve North Alabama. She looks forward to building relationships across the region, delivering impactful stories, and bringing viewers Coverage You Can Count On!
